New TV Shows

We all love our TV shows, and it feels quite saddening when any of our long-time favorite ones reaches its climax and ends. However, with TV channels like ABC, FOX, CBS, and NBC on your DirecTV subscription, you don’t have to stay short on any entertainment. Every year, a lineup of new TV shows is added to the Cox channel guide, and other lists of course, but only a few of them are really worth your time, and prove to be actually entertaining. So to help you out, here are some of the most anticipated TV shows to watch this year.

  1. Legends of Tomorrow

A long shot in its attempt of making way for the Justice League venture, DC launched its ‘side-kicks’ feature Legends of Tomorrow in Jan. The show was one of the most anticipated ones for many months, but might have just lost its charm now. Featuring a time traveler from the future and a team of low-screen time superheroes from CW’s Arrow and The Flash, trying to save the world from an immortal super-villain. Airs on CW, 08:00 p.m. ET.

  1. Shades of Blue

What’s New In 2016

Don’t confuse with the title – this TV show has nothing to do with the Fifty Shades of Grey or Black movies. It’s a crime-drama series featuring J. Lo as a single mother NYPD detective, running along the lines of some dirty cops. However, she is picked up by the FBI and things go the opposite way, turning her into an FBI informant. Released on Jan 7, Shades of Blue airs on NBC at 10:00 p.m. ET.

  1. Lucifer

Everyone loves a vacation, and this goes the same for the Devil in this TV show. One of the most anticipated TV series, Lucifer is about the evil lord officially retiring from his deeds and living out his remaining days in LA. Interestingly, he runs a nightclub downtown Los Angeles, and has a place in California. Released in Jan, the show airs on FOX at 09:00 p.m. ET.

These are only three of the most anticipated TV series released this year, but there are many more to talk about. Maybe in some other post. Stay tuned.
