The best internet provider, Comcast® recently opened a 4500-square-feet Xfinity® Store in the city of Middletown in Connecticut. The new outlet from Comcast® would also help the customers to enter, learn, and acquaint with their products and services, which include Xfinity® Mobile. The Telco also marked the store opening ceremony by paying a considerable donation to the Middlesex United Way.

Attending the function was President cum Chief Executive Officer of Middlesex United Way, Kevin J. Wilhelm, alongside State Senator, Paul Doyle, and State Representative, Joseph Serra. The donation would support Middlesex United Way in local charity initiatives said their CEO while adding the best internet provider and the social services organization are partners.

“We actually do a lot together, whether it’s donating money or coordinating volunteers,” Wilhelm said. “It’s important and wonderful to have locally based businesses and global businesses all supporting our work in education, income, health and housing.”

Comcast® executives said that the outlet is the first of its kind in Middletown to offer customer-centric features such as charging docks, and interactive displays wherein home security features would also be shown to customers.

“The opening of the new Xfinity® store is a great addition to Middletown,” said McHugh. “Comcast® is an important provider of jobs in our region and this store will allow businesses and consumers to interact with the latest technology that drives innovation forward.”

On the other hand, the Senior VP of Western New England Region for Comcast®, Michael Parker said, “We’re proud to be a part of the Middletown community and excited to open this store in a convenient location for a greater number of our customers. Xfinity® stores are the ultimate showcase for consumers to experience how Xfinity® products — including X1, Xfinity® Internet, Xfinity® Home and Xfinity® Mobile — connect and simplify their lives.”

Comcast® opened the outlet as a tactic to improve customer service by inculcating a customer driven culture in the company’s entire hierarchy. The Telco also has staffed eight sales consultants in the store who would assist the customers who walk into the interactive store situated at the 814 Washington Street. The store would stay operative from Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 am to 07:00 pm and from 12:00 pm to 05:00 pm on Sundays.
