Real Vision is Made Available to More Subscribers in the US

Customers of Comcast XFINITY® having X1 can subscribe to the new service to its VoD lineup: “Real Vision”. It is a video-on-demand (VoD) service for traders, investors, and entrepreneurs. A subscription to the VoD service costs 14.99 dollars a month, and it comes with many perks.

There are a couple of things that make this one of the best cable deals of recent times. Firstly, a Comcast® customer can subscribe to the service through the X1 platform. Secondly, it is offered free for the first seven days to the subscribers of the cable cum fastest internet provider.

Real Vision went live upon the X1 platform in the last week of March 2019. The Comcast® lineup of VoD services available through XFINITY® X1 also includes YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, and Netflix.

The programming of Real Vision features finance and business leaders, comprising Kyle Bass, Mark Cuban, Jim Rogers, Jim Chanos, Stanley Druckenmiller, Mike Novogratz, and Mike Steinhardt. On average, as per Real Vision, videos of it are viewed to 87% completion.

Pay-Per-View Programming

The deal with Comcast® expands the reach of the VoD service, which has distribution deals with other websites, and is available via connected-device platforms comprising Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. Besides the subscription-video-on-demand (SVOD) service, Real Vision provides access to some free video content.

Raoul Pal is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Real Vision, and Damian Horner is also its co-founder. The company has around 100 full-time workers, comprising around 50 in NYC.

Since launching in 2014, it has accrued about 50,000 paid customers across its products, as per Raoul Pal.

Real Vision is “edgy and young,” he said while adding that it does not compete with traditional cable networks like Bloomberg or CNBC. “Everybody else does live news. We do analysis and deep dives.”

Real Vision features many original series comprising analysis, documentaries and interviews that are focused on making financial intelligence possible for people to understand. Its target audience is millennial investors, business people, and traders.
